Let's Connect - Exhibition At The Barnes Foundation - Visit Barnes Foundation for FREE and go vote - Hopefully for Bhavisha Patel!

My painting "Elephant in Urban Jungle" after Henri Rousseau's "Woman Walking In An Exotic Forrest" https://collection.barnesfoundation.org/objects/5517/Woman-Walking-in-an-Exotic-Forest-(Femme-se-promenant-dans-une-foret-exotique)/ will be exhibited at The Barnes Foundation for 2 weeks starting May 21- June 4. Four winners will each receive a 3 month long artist residency and a $1000 a month stipend for supplies.

Artists were invited to create a work of their own in response to a single work of art in the Barnes collection. Now, the public and a team of curators will select four artists to be invited for a residency on-site in the Mural Arts Studio at the Barnes.  All votes: the public and the curators will carry equal weight. So,  if you are inclined, I’m asking you to please register online first and then go to The Barnes and vote, hopefully for me. Here is the link to register: (https://www.letsconnectphilly.org/community) You should register online in order to vote, but help is also available at The Barnes. Added bonus, your visit to the Barnes is free, and this includes viewing Barnes' entire collection!  Bring friends along, ask them to register also to get a free visit, and make it a fun outing.

Here is a link to the Lets Connect Call if you are interested in learning more about it: https://www.letsconnectphilly.org/
